The 17-year-old was attacked in the park at just after midnight on January 27 after travelling there by tram from East Croydon.

Officers say they want to trace the five men pictured in the CCTV images in connection with the attack.

Detective Constable Doug Hemingway, from Croydon’s Sapphire Unit, said: “The five men pictured were travelling on the same tram as the victim prior to the attack, and I am keen to speak to them or anyone who recognises them as they may have vital information.”
