A “Prolific” drug dealer who played a major part in the supply of heroin on the streets of Pendle has been locked up.

A police raid in Chapel Street, Nelson, back in February this year found around 500 individual street wraps worth around £10,000.

On Wednesday Raja Imran Khan, 32, of Arthur Street, Nelson, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply heroin at Burnley Crown Court.

Sgt Martin Storey said tackling drugs was a key priority for officers.

“Khan was prolific player in the supply of heroin on the streets of Pendle,” he said.
