Police are appealing for witnesses to a robbery close to a cash point in the Narborough Road area of the city.

The incident happened between 5.55am and 6am on Tuesday, May 29 at the Nat West cash point near to the junction of Narborough Road and Hinckley Road.

The victim was approached by a black man who threatened her, before taking money she had just withdrawn.

The suspect is described as black, between 5’6” and 5’8” tall with a shaven or bald head, medium to stocky build and about 40 years old. He was wearing a grey hooded top and knee length combat shorts in desert camouflage.
