A SUPERMARKET manager from Harrow will stand trial in October over allegations of human trafficking.

Aleemuddin Mohammed, 44, of Sefton Avenue, faced charged of trafficking a person into the UK for exploitation and sexual assault of a female when he appeared on bail at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.

He did not enter a plea and the magistrates deemed the offences so serious they sent the case for trial to Southwark Crown Court in south-east London, where there will be a case management hearing on October 4.

The alleged victim of the human trafficking and sexual assaults is from Hyderabad in southern India.

Mohammed appeared alongside five co-defendants who will stand trial at the crown court at the same time. All had their conditional bail renewed.
