Police are appealing for witnesses following an attempted robbery in Dewsbury.

The incident happened at 3.30pm on Thursday 14 June when a 14 year old boy was walking home from school.

While walking down the ginnel at the side of St John Fishers School in Dewsbury, he was approached by three suspects.

The suspects demanded his mobile phone then pushed the boy to the floor. They made off empty handed in the direction of Oxford Road.

Suspect one is described as an Asian boy aged 16 of medium build and 5’9 tall. He has a small moustache, short black hair and was wearing a long sleeved white t shirt, black tracksuit bottoms with blue stripes and blue gloves.

Suspect two is described as an Asian boy aged 17-18 of medium build and 5’6 tall. He had dark hair, a small moustache, black hooded top with orange and red pattern, black tracksuit bottoms and gloves.

Suspect three was described as an Asian boy aged 15-16, and was wearing a dark blue hooded top.
