A Bristol man has today been jailed for four years for possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.

Omar Salmon, aged 34, was arrested by police on Thursday May 26, 2011 after officers attended an address in Southmead following allegations of assault. When Salmon was taken into custody he was found in possession of cash to the value of £1560 and was further arrested on suspicion of money laundering.

Searches of a house and vehicle were then carried out and a bag containing items including drugs were found.

Salmon was later charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine, possession with intent to supply Heroin and acquiring, using or possessing criminal property.

Salmon pleaded not guilty through the court process and today was found guilty of all offences and sentenced to four years behind bars.
