TWO men from Woodford Green have been jailed after a raid on their home uncovered loaded guns and drugs.

Granville Freckleton, 32 and Otis Lewis, 28, both of The Roses, Woodford Green were jailed for 12 years and 11 years respectively at Snaresbrook Crown court today (June 26).

Both men were found guilty of three counts of possession of a firearm, two counts of possessing ammunition, one count of possessing expandable bullets and possession of class A drugs.

The raid by Trident officers on 17 May 2011 resulted in three firearms found loaded and ready to use – a Smith and Wesson revolver, a Luger P8 self-loading pistol and a Baikal 9mm with silencer attached – inside the house.

Also found inside the house was a small quantity of the class A drug crack cocaine and £3,000 in cash.
