A 33-year-old man has been jailed for four years after police seized a £42,000 stash of illegal drugs from his home.

Kamran Ayub was ordered to pay back his ill-gotten gains after four types of drug and £7,851 in cash were found at his flat in Salts Mill Road, Shipley, on August 11 last year.

Ayub, who pleaded guilty to six drugs offences, was hoarding heroin, cocaine, skunk cannabis and the stimulant BZP, Bradford Crown Court heard.

Prosecutor Ian Brook said the hoard was seized when officers swooped on Ayub’s home.

They uncovered Class A, B and C drugs, including skunk cannabis, valued at almost £30,000, £3,824 worth of cocaine, heroin valued at £5,250 and more than 800 BZP tablets worth £3,000.
