PRISON sentences totalling nearly 30 years have today been handed down to a gang of ten Birmingham drug dealers.
Operation No Deal, a 12 month investigation into the supply of class A drugs in east Birmingham, has already seen 16 individuals jailed for a total of just over 55 years.
The operation was launched by Birmingham East Police in early 2011 with the aim of ridding the area of street-level drug dealing; in particular class A drugs heroin and cocaine.
Following a long-term covert operation and a series of co-ordinated raids, today (Friday 20 July) a further ten men were sentenced at Birmingham Crown Court.
