Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after an attempted robbery in Slough last week.

At around 1.15pm on Thursday 19 July, a 27-year-old man was leaving the Queensmere Shopping Centre by the exit on to the High Street, near the cinema, when he was approached by a man who demanded £50.

The victim refused and the offender struck him on the head and it is believed the offender may have been carrying a knife, as the victim received a small cut above their right eye.

The offender is Asian, 5ft 7ins, of a large build and around 35 to 40-years-old. He had a stubble beard and was wearing a dark coloured hooded jumper.
