A SNEAKY shop worker tried to nick a £1million Lottery prize after telling a great-gran her ticket had won nothing.

Farrakh Nizzar scanned the EuroMillions ticket belonging to Maureen Holt, 77, and saw she was a Millionaire Raffle winner.

It was then found the ticket was bought on Mrs Holt’s Clubcard at her local Tesco. Nizzar, 20, of Manchester, admitted fraud by false representation at Oldham Magistrates’ Court.
