Police in Luton are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a pregnant woman was robbed in the town centre on Wednesday 1st August.

The incident happened between 2pm and 2.45pm outside the Arndale Centre in Bute Street, next to Don Miller.

The 25 year old was walking with her two daughters towards the main shopping centre when three men pushed her from behind and grabbed her purse from the top of her pushchair.

The men then left the scene towards Chapel Street.

The first man is described as black, approximately 5’9” tall, wearing a yellow t-shirt and black jeans. The second and third offenders were both black, one wore a black hooded top and the other wore a white t-shirt.
