A MAN who threatened to kill his girlfriend after she discovered him in bed with her flatmate has been told to do 150 hours of unpaid work and pay £300 compensation to the victim.
Sergejus Juodka, 42, of Canon Way, Thetford, appeared at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates’ Court to be sentenced for two counts of assault by beating on August 20.
Juodka had pleaded guilty to both charges at an earlier hearing.
Nikki Miller, prosecuting, told the court that the first assault had taken place on July 2 this year when Juodka’s girlfriend had returned home to find him drunk.
She locked herself in the bathroom of their home as she was feeling scared and after she refused to come out Juodka kicked open the door and punched her causing a nose bleed and subsequently two black eyes
