Thames Valley Police is appealing for information after a robbery in which a woman had her jewellery stolen in Slough on Friday (31/8).

At about 9.55am, the victim was walking along Diamond Road when she was distracted by a man behind her who asked her a question.

As she was trying to understand what the man was asking about, the man ripped her scarf open around her neck revealing her gold necklace.

The man then ripped the necklace from her neck and ran off in the direction of Uxbridge Road.

The man was seen to return to the offence location at about 11.20am on a bike but left the area quickly.

The man is black, in his mid twenties, and of medium build. He was wearing a hooded jacket and blue jeans and had a blue mobile phone.
