Two men have been sentenced today (11 September) in relation to £500,000 worth of heroin destined for the streets of Slough.

Mansoor Khalid, 31, of Seymour Road, Slough, and Shiraz Choudry, 32, of Star Road, Isleworth, West London, appeared before Reading Crown Court today for conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.

Khalid, who was found guilty of the charge this week, has been sentenced to nine years imprisonment. Choudry, who had earlier pleaded guilty to the offence, was sentenced to three years eight months imprisonment.

DC Chas Boshell, who led the investigation, said: “I am extremely pleased with the sentences given in court today. They reflect Khalid’s significant role in the organised crime group and Choudry’s role as a courier.
