A Peterborough menace has had his ASBO increased to include the whole of the city centre for a further two years.
Shepherd Gandi (41) of Kilham, Orton Goldhay, had been banned from threatening, intimidating, insulting or abusive language or behaviour in any public place, being disorderly while under the influence of alcohol in any public place, engaging in shoplifting or theft and being in possession of an open vessel containing alcohol in a public place in Peterborough city centre as part of his old anti-social behaviour order (ASBO).
But on Tuesday, September 4 the order, which was set to run out this month, was extended for a further two years, and now covers the whole of the city boundary.
If he breaches the order, he could face a prison sentence. Since his order was introduced in September 2010, he has been arrested 43 times, and has previously spoken in court about his addiction to alcohol.
PC Gary Johnson said the new ASBO would send a message to Zimbabwe-born Gandi.
