An Algerian man who used a fake passport to work at Cambridge University has been jailed.

Oudina Mounir, of Perne Road, Cambridge, was sentenced to 10 months in prison when he appeared at Cambridge Crown Court today(sep 13) having pleaded guilty to possessing a fake ID document and fraud at an earlier hearing.

The court heard he used a fake French passport to obtain a job as a cleaner at Cambridge University’s Faculty of Divinity on its Sidgwick site.
