TWO MEN responsible for the drunken and unprovoked attack on a 31-year-old have been jailed for life.

Sade Samanter, 21 and his 34-year-old accomplice Ibrahim Dualeh fatally assaulted Abdullahi Osman, in Ealing, west London, last year. They were ordered to serve a minimum of 11 years and 13 years respectively at the Old Bailey earlier this week.

During the week-long trial the jury heard how officers had attended the scene in Deans Gardens and found Osman, Somali national from Uxbridge, west London, collapsed with head injuries.

He was taken to St Mary’s Hospital where he remained in a critical condition and on life-support for over 24-hours. Despite extensive treatment, Mr Osman’s condition rapidly deteriorated and he subsequently died in the early hours of August 13, 2011.
