A MAN who lured a teenage girl to his home before violently raping her has been jailed for almost ten years.
Leroy Hall, 56, convinced the girl, who was aged 17 or 18 at the time, to come to his flat in a taxi to help him move before locking the door and subjecting her to the horrifying attack in 1997.
He denied the rape but was found guilty after an eight-day trial at Bristol Crown Court last month.
Jailing Hall, of Belmont Street, Easton, for a total on nine and a half years Judge Mark Horton told him: “You are a dangerous predatory sex offender who has shown no remorse, contrition or indeed understanding about the tragic and enormous harm that you have caused to this woman.
“The trauma she suffered laid a dark cloud over most of her life.
