“Black Somalian” Sought After Hounslow Rape

A woman was raped in a Hounslow car park after she was pulled into a stationary vehicle.

The 26-year-old victim was assaulted opposite Yates’s bar in Bath Road at around 11.40pm on February 1…..

…..The suspect and the car have still not been traced.

He is described as a black Somalian, around 30 years old, 5ft 7ins tall, of slim build, and wearing beige trousers, a black jacket and a white T-shirt with a design on the front.

Heroin Dealer Valentine Emmanuel Onyeabor Jailed, To Be Deported (Brent)

 A man from Brent who went to prison for drug dealing has been arrested and sent back to jail for breaching the conditions of his release.

Valentine Emmanuel Onyeabor, 35, formerly of Winchelsea Road, was originally convicted of possession of heroin with intent to supply.

He was jailed for 70 months with a recommendation for deportation at Woolwich Crown Court on December 14, 2006.

Mr Onyeabor was released early on licence on November 14, 2008 but recalled to prison in January 2011 for breaching his licence conditions.

Deal or No Deal Mrs Banana Charged With Benefit Fraud

Caroline Banana, 40, is accused of failing to notify the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) of her win while continuing to claim £5,000 in benefits.

Claimants must notify the authorities if their bank balance exceeds £16,000 either through a windfall or inheritance.

Zimbabwe-born Banana won £95,000 when she appeared on the Channel 4 show supported by her husband Michael, 48, in November 2011.

Millions of viewers watched as she took out the red box which she did not know contained £75,000, prompting the Banker to offer her £35,000 for it.

Midwives to Intervene in Cases of Female Genital Mutilation – Wonder Where that Problem Comes From

Midwives could be asked routinely to raise the issue of female genital mutilation with pregnant women from communities where the practice is prevalent.

The Department of Health is looking at gathering data on the numbers who have been illegally mutilated in an attempt to safeguard children and potentially increase the number of prosecutions.

Campaigners applaud the move, pointing out that often women are not examined during pregnancy and so the first time NHS professionals are aware that a woman has been cut is during childbirth, when it may be too late to give her the help she needs.

It is also hoped that collecting the data will help to identify the baby girls at birth who may be at risk in the future.

Asylum Seeker Yankuba Touray Jailed for Assaulting Housemate (Shelton)

AN ASYLUM seeker has been jailed after he carried out a sustained attack on a housemate who accused him of using his milk.

Yankuba Touray, aged 36, who is from the Gambia, was housed by the Home Office at an address in Chatham Street, Shelton, from last June.

But he did not get on with another resident who found him to be messy, disruptive and anti social and claimed he stole his food.

Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court yesterday heard matters came to a head on November 3 when the other man went into the communal kitchen for some milk.

Prosecutor Heather Chamberlin said: “The defendant was in the kitchen cooking. He swore and punched the other man to the head. The other man ran through the lounge pursued by the defendant who continued to punch at him.

Teacher Sorient Sigba Jailed for Running Sex and Drugs Brothel

Sorient “Freddy” Sigba, 54, was jailed yesterday after being convicted of offering his rich clients the services of east European women at premises in Holborn, central London.

The father of four, whose two older children are studying law and medicine, had worked as a teacher at the Geoffrey Chaucer school in Elephant and Castle, south-east London, before turning to the sex industry.

His clients were picked up by taxi drivers close to strip clubs in nearby Farringdon and taken to the brothel, where scantily clad women lounged on sofas waiting to be chosen. They were charged at least £300 an hour to spend time with the women, plus a £90 fee if they wanted to pay by card.

Sigba was arrested after two Scotland Yard undercover officers known as “John” and “Alex” visited the brothel, which was open between June 2006 and October 2011.

Nigerian Benefits Cheat Chidi Ukwueze Let Off Prison

A benefit cheat who fleeced taxpayers out of more than £7,000 was spared jail today (weds).

Chidi Ukwueze, 38, who arrived in Britain from Nigeria in 2002, lied about his immigration status while making bogus claims for jobseekers’ allowance and income support.

He was given permission to stay in the UK on the condition that he did not claim state funds, Snaresbrook Crown Court heard.

Ukwueze forged five claim forms between December 17, 2009 and November 18, 201

Crooked Registrar Azu Akpom Helped African Gang in £4m Benefits Fraud

A crooked registrar faces a lengthy jail sentence after being found guilty of issuing false birth certificates to a gang of African fraudsters who stole at least £4million from taxpayers  over 20 years.

Azu Akpom provided fake certificates to the ringleader of the gang who went on to create false identities for up to 100 children to milk the benefits system.

Croydon Crown Court heard how the  Nigerian-born father of three was ultimately trapped by a text message which, despite his denial, showed he knew the gang’s  chief conspirator, Ugandan-born Ruth Nabuguzi, 49.

Appeal After Northampton Sexual Assault

Police are appealing for witnesses to a sexual assault that took place in Vernon Walk, Northampton, on Monday 14 January.

Between 5.30pm and 6.30pm, a 39-year-old woman was walking along the road when she was approached by a man who began talking to her.

He then put his arms around her and kissed her. He then made suggestive comments to the woman before she ran off and called the police.

The offender was a black man, aged in his late 20s, around 5ft 7in tall, of slim build and wearing a pair of dark blue jeans, green jacket and a green or grey baseball cap. He spoke with a strong African accent.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have any information regarding it.

Witnesses to this incident, or anyone with information, should call Northamptonshire Police on 101 – alternatively, information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

White Flight as Britons Leave ‘Enriched’ Areas

Britain is ‘self-segregating’ as white families flee urban areas for the countryside and outer suburbs.

The trend is causing an ‘ethnic cliff’, in which the proportion of households from minority backgrounds is vastly different in areas just a few miles apart.

Some outer London boroughs – including Enfield, Waltham Forest and Redbridge – have seen their white British population drop by as much as a quarter over the past decade.

The same applies to urban areas around the capital such as Luton, Reading and Bedfordshire.
