Shazad Rehman, 30, was jailed for 18-and-half years and Bilal Hussain, 23, was jailed for 17-and-a-half years at Bradford Crown Court.

Judge Jonathan Rose said the men “engaged in a course of conduct which has become increasingly and depressingly familiar in this country”.

Hussain, of Leeds and Rehman, of no fixed address, raped three girls.

FIAZULA self-confessed “monstrous and disgusting” man who raped a teaching assistant was yesterday jailed for 11 years and three months.

Bed shop owner Fiazul Islam, 31, picked up the woman as she walked home after a night out with colleagues in Keighley before raping her twice in the back of his car.

Bradford Crown Court heard he was caught by police after her mobile phone – lost during the attack – was found in his bedroom when a 15-year-old girl accused him of a separate sexual offence more than a year later. Sentencing him for two counts of rape and one of sexual activity with a child, Judge John Potter told him: “You are prepared to violate and humiliate your victims to satisfy your own wicked sexual desires.”

A woman with cerebral palsy was attacked by three masked youths in broad daylight.

The 51-year-old victim was walking under a motorway bridge in Bolton when the teenagers grabbed her wrists and demanded money.

A passer-by disturbed the young thugs who fled before they could steal any cash.

The attempted robbery happened on Loxham Street, Moses Gate, at around 11.40am on Tuesday (March 5).

The boys were described as Asian, in their early teens, and were wearing dark hooded tops, baseball caps and had covered faces.

But he was banned from ever running a food business again.

Worksop magistrates heard how Mohammed Abdul Kashem, 38, had risked causing a gas explosion or E.coli outbreak because of how he managed Monsoon in Ryton Street.

Bassetlaw Council brought the prosecution against him after officials carried out numerous inspections on the Indian restaurant.

On some occasions their improvement notices were complied with, but on others the promises were ‘filthy’.

Three men accused of abducting a 13-year-old girl and forcing her to become their sex slave have been convicted of sex and drug offences.

The girl was subjected to a string of assaults after being taken from London to Ipswich, Norwich Crown Court heard.

During the trial, jurors were told the men “set her up as a sex slave” and “used her for their pleasure”.

Surin Uddin, Mohammed Sheikh and Hamza Ali, all from east London, will be sentenced at a later date.

The police are appealing for witnesses after a 16-year-old boy was assaulted during an attempted robbery on Friday (February 22).

The youngster was walking along a pathway between Hancock Drive and Old Bedford Road in Luton at about 6pm when three offenders approached him from behind, punching him several times.

They demanded he hand over his mobile phone and when he refused, he was assaulted again.

The victim managed to break free and run towards a nearby house while the offenders fled towards Riddy Lane.

Investigating officer DC Tim Worden is keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the attack or seen the offenders in the area.

All three are Asian males aged about 17.

A 20-year-old man has been locked up for 18 months for possession of heroin with intent to supply.

Sohail Ahmed, of Leeds Road, Thornbury, Bradford, was already serving a custodial sentence for dangerous driving, Bradford Crown Court heard.

Yesterday Judge Colin Burn sent him to a young offender institution for a consecutive term after he pleaded guilty to the drugs offence.

Two brothers who fleeced taxpayers out of £315,000 in a house-swapping scam involving their wives walked free after a judge said the ‘greatest punishment’ was the loss of their good names.

Mohammed Amin, 40, and his wife, Kauser Aktar, 38, switched homes with Aftab Ahmed, 39, and his wife Sobia Shaheen, 32, so the women could pretend to be tenants and claim housing benefits.

The Pakistani couples – who have 11 children between them – submitted bogus tenancy agreements for 16 years, raking in £314,452.25, Snaresbrook Crown Court in east London heard on Friday.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for information after a 17-year-old boy was robbed in Slough on Tuesday (5/2).

At 8am the victim was walking along an alleyway between Nixey Close and Lascelles Park when a man stopped him and asked for the time. The victim did not have a watch but the offender asked him to check on his phone. No knife was seen but the offender threatened to stab the victim and stole his iPod and money. The victim was then told to carry on walking and not to look back while the offender left the scene.

The offender is an Asian man, in his mid twenties, slim, 5ft 9ins possibly with a goatee beard and spoke with a local accent. He was wearing grey cotton jogging bottoms and a dark blue shiny hooded raincoat that stopped at the waist. He wore the hood on the coat up with the draw strings pulled tightly.

anamul_hoqueA dangerous sex pest who groped a mum-of-two while she slept with her two young children has been jailed.

Anamul Hoque, 25, broke into the victim’s home in the early hours and entered her bedroom where she was asleep with her two sons aged eight and five.

Burnley Crown Court heard the mum-of-two awoke to find herself being groped by Hoque and she screamed out.

Hoque then fled from the house.
