Two men have been jailed for drugging and raping vulnerable under-age girls they found walking the streets.
Shazad Rehman, 30, was jailed for 18-and-half years and Bilal Hussain, 23, was jailed for 17-and-a-half years at Bradford Crown Court.
Judge Jonathan Rose said the men “engaged in a course of conduct which has become increasingly and depressingly familiar in this country”.
Hussain, of Leeds and Rehman, of no fixed address, raped three girls.

Three men accused of abducting a 13-year-old girl and forcing her to become their sex slave have been convicted of sex and drug offences.
The girl was subjected to a string of assaults after being taken from London to Ipswich, Norwich Crown Court heard.
During the trial, jurors were told the men “set her up as a sex slave” and “used her for their pleasure”.
Surin Uddin, Mohammed Sheikh and Hamza Ali, all from east London, will be sentenced at a later date.

A Royal Military Police reservist from Essex has been jailed for 17 years for raping a girl of 12 who he groomed through BlackBerry Messenger (BBM).
Adrian Rose, 36, of Rochester Drive in Westcliff-on-Sea, had been found guilty of eight rapes, five counts of child abduction and one of grooming a girl.
Judge Stephen Holt, sentencing at Norwich Crown Court, said the grooming and rapes were “highly planned”.
He said BBM, where messages are quickly deleted, was useful for paedophiles.
Rose, who was based in Aldershot, was also banned for life from using social networks unless he informed police and gave them his password for the site.

A TEEN was given drugs and booze by a child sex exploitation gang while heavily pregnant, the Old Bailey heard.
The witness, known as Girl 3, also told the jury yesterday that while she was underage, the gang told her it was normal to have sex and perform sex acts on men.
Now 20, she claims she was abused by brothers Akhtar and Anjum Dogar, brothers Mohammed and Bassam Karrar, and Assad Hussain between the ages of 12 and 15.

One of four men accused of using a 13-year-old girl as a sex slave told police he encouraged her to resist the other men’s advances, a court heard.
Surin Uddin, 28, of Bethnal Green, east London, is accused of conspiracy to traffic and various sex offences.
The trial jury at Norwich Crown Court heard the girl was subjected to a string of attacks over four days.
She was taken from her home in London to a rented house in Ipswich, Suffolk, the court was told.
Uddin, Mohamed Sheikh, 31, of Hackney, east London, and Abdul Hammed, 46, of Wellington Street in Ipswich all deny two counts of rape.
Sheikh also denies causing a child to engage in sexual activity.

A PIZZA shop owner from Worksop has denied raping two women and indecently assaulting a third.
A ten day trial at Nottingham Crown Court heard allegations that Sherif Khalil, 57, carried out the offences over more than a decade.
The jury was told one of the alleged rape victims was aged between 11 and 15 at the time.
Khalil of Sandy Lane, Worksop, had a financial interest in a pizza shop in South Yorkshire and had worked at pizza parlours in Worksop and elsewhere in north Notts.
He pleads not guilty to a total of 15 charges including four counts of rape of the younger woman.

A muslim who raped a 13-year-old girl he groomed on Facebook has been spared a prison sentence after a judge heard he went to an Islamic faith school where he was taught that women are worthless.
Adil Rashid, 18, claimed he was not aware that it was illegal for him to have sex with the girl because his education left him ignorant of British law.
Yesterday Judge Michael Stokes handed Rashid a suspended sentence, saying: ‘Although chronologically 18, it is quite clear from the reports that you are very naive and immature when it comes to sexual matters.’

An African migrant who lured a vulnerable schoolgirl to a house for sex cannot be deported – because he is a member of a ‘persecuted tribe’.
Jumaa Kater Saleh, 24, was convicted as part of a predatory sex gang for the ‘deliberate, targeted abuse of a young and vulnerable girl’, who was aged 13 at the time.
But he was allowed to remain in Britain under human rights law because he faced mistreatment if sent back to Sudan.

CHILD sex exploitation police have charged a man with rape and sexual assault as part of the Operation Bullfinch investigation.
Sameer Tasib, of Wilkins Road, Oxford, will appear at Oxford Crown Court on February 11 for a plea and directions hearing. The 22-year-old was charged in November but police only released the information yesterday.
Nine men are currently on trial at the Old Bailey in London accused of involvement in an alleged child sex ring in Oxford.

Nine men charged with sexually abusing one Rochdale girl have been released on bail, some until December.
The men, all of Asian and African backgrounds, were arrested in May for a string of allegations against one girl, including rape, inciting and having sex with a minor, but were released from police custody within days.
Officers charged the men yesterday and they will each be brought before magistrates over the next six weeks.
