Taxi Driver Mohammed Umar Anwar – Sexual Activity With Underage Girl

A taxi driver who got an underage teenage girl to perform a sex act on him, after driving her to an empty home in Peterborough, has lost an appeal to revoke his licence.

Mohammed Umar Anwar (31) of Sallows Road, Peterborough, appeared before Peterborough Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Wednesday) to appeal against Peterborough City Council’s decision to revoke his Hackney driver’s licence.

The council refused to renew Anwar’s licence in September last year, in the interests of public safety, after an incident where Anwar was flagged down by a 15-year-old girl stating she wanted to go to Orton but had no money.

Heroin Dealer Valentine Emmanuel Onyeabor Jailed, To Be Deported (Brent)

 A man from Brent who went to prison for drug dealing has been arrested and sent back to jail for breaching the conditions of his release.

Valentine Emmanuel Onyeabor, 35, formerly of Winchelsea Road, was originally convicted of possession of heroin with intent to supply.

He was jailed for 70 months with a recommendation for deportation at Woolwich Crown Court on December 14, 2006.

Mr Onyeabor was released early on licence on November 14, 2008 but recalled to prison in January 2011 for breaching his licence conditions.

Romanians Enriching London with Imported Crime Epidemic

Some 27,725 Romanians were arrested for offences in London over the past five years, Scotland Yard said, including 10 for murder and more than 140 for rape.

The figures, published under the Freedom of Information Act, will fuel fears of a crime wave when restrictions on workers from Romania and Bulgaria are lifted in January next year.

Romanians came second only to Poles, who accounted for 34,905 arrests, including 84 for murder and almost 130 for rape.

However, there were some 587,000 migrants born in Poland living in the UK in 2011, estimates from the Office for National Statistics showed, compared with 87,000 Romanians.

Three Men Guilty of Making 13 Year Old Girl “Sex Slave”

Three men accused of abducting a 13-year-old girl and forcing her to become their sex slave have been convicted of sex and drug offences.

The girl was subjected to a string of assaults after being taken from London to Ipswich, Norwich Crown Court heard.

During the trial, jurors were told the men “set her up as a sex slave” and “used her for their pleasure”.

Surin Uddin, Mohammed Sheikh and Hamza Ali, all from east London, will be sentenced at a later date.

Witness Appeal After Luton Robbery

The police are appealing for witnesses after a 16-year-old boy was assaulted during an attempted robbery on Friday (February 22).

The youngster was walking along a pathway between Hancock Drive and Old Bedford Road in Luton at about 6pm when three offenders approached him from behind, punching him several times.

They demanded he hand over his mobile phone and when he refused, he was assaulted again.

The victim managed to break free and run towards a nearby house while the offenders fled towards Riddy Lane.

Investigating officer DC Tim Worden is keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the attack or seen the offenders in the area.

All three are Asian males aged about 17.

Rabbits kept in Horrifying Conditions by Joseph Binwana (Tyneside)

THIS man kept a “battery farm” of pet rabbits at his terraced Tyneside home.

The animals were crammed into three small hutches in the backyard of Joseph Binwana’s house on Raby Street, in Byker, Newcastle.

Ranging from the ages of four weeks to several years, male and female rabbits were kept in the same cages, prompting them to carry on breeding, a court heard.

In the end, dad-of-four Binwana had 25 rabbits living in neglect by the time the animals were seized by the RSPCA.

During a four-month period, inspectors from the charity had given the 52-year-old numerous warnings that he needed to get rid of the pets or dramatically improve the space and conditions they were living in.

Louis Harris – Deliberately Infected Girlfriend with HIV

A MAN has been jailed for knowingly infecting his girlfriend with HIV.

“Cruel” Louis Harris knew he had the virus when he struck up a sexual relationship with the nurse.

The 30-year-old, from Mount Gould, even failed to tell the woman when she asked, Plymouth Crown Court heard.

Harris was yesterday caged for two and a half years as a judge told him: “It’s hard to imagine a crueller form of conduct.”

The court heard how the woman – referred to as ‘Miss C’ for legal reasons – feared she may now never start a family because of the risk of passing the life-threatening virus on to her children.

Rizwan Jaffer – Wanted For Heroin Supply

Police are hunting a Bury man who is wanted in connection with drug offences.

Rizwan Jaffer (born 22/03/1968), originally of Manchester Road, Ramsbottom, was arrested on suspicion of possession of heroin with intent to supply in January 2009.

A charging authority was granted but Jaffer did not answer his bail and has been on the run ever since.

Police are now appealing to anyone who knows of his whereabouts to come forward. Anyone found harbouring or offering refuge to Jaffer also faces possible arrest.

Sohail Ahmed: Sentence Extended For Heroin Offences (Bradford)

A 20-year-old man has been locked up for 18 months for possession of heroin with intent to supply.

Sohail Ahmed, of Leeds Road, Thornbury, Bradford, was already serving a custodial sentence for dangerous driving, Bradford Crown Court heard.

Yesterday Judge Colin Burn sent him to a young offender institution for a consecutive term after he pleaded guilty to the drugs offence.

Gay Crack Addict Charles Omishore Banned From Every Public Toilet in Westminster and Camden

A thief and crack addict who has preyed on the gay community for more than a decade has finally been banned from entering any public toilet in the whole of Westminster and Camden.

In an ASBO ruling thought to be the first of its kind, Charles Omishore, 32, has been banned by magistrates from setting foot anywhere in the West End, which stretches from Westminster into Camden.

But the loo ban means Omishore, who was staying with a friend in the borough, can’t enter any public toilet in either borough for five years.

Last Friday Westminster Magistrates’ Court granted the order after hearing about a string of offences in which Omishore typically pick-pocketed his male victims while engaging in sexual activity and then making off with wallets, mobile phones and other valuables.
